The agency has already created a £750,000 campaign for the ice-cream brand that promotes the value for money aspect of the dessert as well as the unique appeal of the product. The two press executions will break on 6 April across a selection of women's magazines.

The win represents the sixth piece of Unilever business that Krow has picked up since it won the Elmlea account in 2006. The most recent was Flora's "Cooking with Schools" business that it won from Bartle Bogle Hegarty in February.

Barry Cook, one of the four founders of Krow, said: "We are really delighted to be entrusted with the responsibility of promoting yet another iconic Unilever brand. The fact that it is also one of my own personal childhood favourites makes meetings even more enjoyable."

Naomi Geffen, the Wall's brand manager for Unilever, said: "Krow has been fantastic to work with – they have really understood the Viennetta brand and we're really excited about the creative solution they have developed."
