Nigel Reeve has poached a director from media agency TCS to

mastermind his plans to launch 24-hour internet radio stations across

the UK.

Nicky Leggatt will join Reeve’s fledgling Fusion Radio Group (Media

business, 6 March) in a fortnight.

Once in place, she will launch ten internet radio stations in every area

where Fusion Radio Group sets up a traditional radio station.

Each web station will cover a different sector: news, children’s, sport,

entertainment and public services. They will air continuously and be

tailored to local audiences.

Reeve will unveil details of the first three traditional radio stations

to come out of his network over the next two weeks. He is aiming to

launch six by May but their 60 sister web stations will not go live

until September.

Leggatt, who was associate director at TCS and worked on the Dell,

Logica and Unijet accounts, is looking for three sales staff .

She will continue to work with Steve Booth, managing partner at Booth

Lockett Makin, who is advising Fusion Radio Group on a consultancy

basis.
