such technology has been available on the high street.

The jeans company will make no money from the Virtual Record Store

Kiosk, with all proceeds going to record labels and artists.

Shoppers will be able to choose from thousands of tracks from a variety

of musical styles, but concentrating on talent from independent

labels.

A standard 45 minute-long CD will take 10-15 minutes to make, and costs

pounds 7. For the first month CDs will be priced at pounds 4.99.

Levi’s intends to roll out the kiosks to stores in 20 major European

cities from August.
