Between the Lines: BHF needs a health warning

The agencies competing in the British Heart Foundation pitch should approach it with caution (page 1).

The charity appointed Lowe and Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R to its business just ten months ago. Since then, Lowe has produced a TV spot and a press ad and RKCR/Y&R's promised campaign was never commissioned.

That the charity felt the need to appoint two agencies to a brief with a budget in the region of £1.5 million triggered alarm bells last year.

The fact it is returning to a pitch so soon afterwards seems unnecessary.
