Lowe poaches glue duo for digital role

Lowe has hired Simon Lloyd and Christine Turner from glue London to the newly created positions of creative digital heads.

Lloyd and Turner will work with Tracey Follows, a planner, and Patrick McClelland, a creative director, to head the agency's digital offering, and will work across all of Lowe's clients.

The duo, who will be Lowe's first specialist digital creatives, will report to Ed Morris, the agency's executive creative director.

Last month, the pair won a gold Pencil at the One Show for their Mini "clubman" campaign and, across their career, have also picked up a bronze Cyber Lion for their Virgin Trains "littler Britain" work, a Campaign Digital silver for "plastic surgery" for Virgin Money, and various D&AD nominations.

McClelland said: "Simon and Christine's work has that rare combination of simplicity of idea with strong production values. This makes them the perfect people to dispel the illusory divide between traditional and digital media that still pervades our industry."
