- Lowe Howard-Spink has resigned the £10 million ($16.2 million) TV advertising account for furniture retailer Courts. The business is expected to move into RPM3, which picked up the Courts press account last week.

Chris Coote, Courts UK marketing director, said: "At this moment I do not want to comment. Meetings today (Monday) will fashion the situation."

A Lowes statement said: "We decided that neither company's interests were served by prolonging the relationship, so we are bringing it to a dignified end."

RPM3 came close to securing the £20 million business a year ago, when the client chose Lowes after a review out of CDP.
