M&C Saatchi wins brief for star-studded education campaign

LONDON - M&C Saatchi has scooped a worldwide ad brief for the Global Campaign for Education, which will see the agency produce a star-studded campaign in the run-up to the 2010 World Cup.

The initiative, which is being run by the GCE in conjunction with Comic Relief and Fifa, will use a number of football stars to promote the cause, which aims to give every child access to free primary-level education.

The Make Poverty History-style campaign will encompass brand identity, global TV, print, digital, PR and events, and will launch in June.
