The words caring, supportive and creative crop up repeatedly in reference to Barwell. One colleague, for instance, describes him as "a brilliant leader who is committed to nurturing and developing his team".
Achievements under his belt this year include awards for Robinsons innovation Squash’d; the relaunch of the range with new flavours and packaging; and celebrating the 80th anniversary of Robinsons’ partnership with Wimbledon, while reaffirming it for the next five years.
Giving back to the industry, and wider society, is also a key focus – Barwell chairs the Advertising Association’s Front Foot campaign and supports the Speakers for Schools charity.
