DDB New York, CHI & Partners and FCB Inferno were also involved in the process, which was handled directly by Western Union.
The appointment comes as the company looks to expand its business beyond money transfer. It is currently looking at ways to incorporate its services into mobiles and ATMs.
Western Union used 180 Amsterdam for its most recent global campaign. It has also worked with FCB Inferno and Leo Burnett in the UK and M&C Saatchi Madrid in Spain.
