Media Faulds loses senior staff to rival Feather Brooksbank

Scottish agency Media Faulds has lost four of its senior staff.

Scottish agency Media Faulds has lost four of its senior staff.

Media director Sara Maclean and media group director Robin Jack have

resigned from the Edinburgh-based shop, which is part of the

full-service company Faulds Advertising.

It is not known whether either employee has another job to go to.

Group media director Gillian Cairney and senior planner/buyer Laura

Frier are also quitting the agency. They will take up the positions of

account director and account manager respectively at the Edinburgh-based

Carat subsidiary Feather Brooksbank, which is a rival of Media

Faulds.

The resignations come as Faulds’ is merging its semi-independent media

division into the main body of the agency.

Jack currently oversees accounts including Royal Bank of Scotland and

Scottish Power, while Maclean’s portfolio includes The Big Issue.

Cairney’s account portfolio includes the Scottish Executive, Highland

Distillers and Murray Johnstone financial services.

Cairney and Frier’s moves were confirmed by Feather Brooksbank director

Giles Brooksbank, although he declined to comment on which accounts the

two would handle.
