Media: Viacom Brand Solutions completes a neuro-marketing study

Viacom Brand Solutions, the advertising sales operation for MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon, has completed a neuro-marketing study that monitored the brains of TV viewers while they watched ads. VBS said the survey demonstrates that ads scheduled to appear around relevant programmes are 24 per cent more likely to stimulate activity in the parts of the brain linked to advertising effectiveness. VBS will present the results to media agencies this week.
