Mediaedge:cia wins Activision Blizzard £150 million global media account

LONDON - Activision Blizzard, the US video game publisher, has awarded WPP-owned Mediaedge:cia its £150 million global media planning and buying business.

The agency beat the incumbent, MediaVest, and the pitching agencies MPG and OMD to the business. The global account includes on- and offline media for the Vivendi-owned company.

The  review, whcih was run out fo the US , kicked off in February this year.

Activision Blizzard is a joint venture between Activision, which developed Guitar Hero, and Vivendi Games.
