MediaVest Manchester hired for Screwfix Direct brief

LONDON - MediaVest Manchester has won the media-planning and buying account for Screwfix Direct, the supplier of trade tools and hardware products.

The appointment follows a competitive review out of WWAV Rapp Collins and sees the account return to MediaVest Manchester, following a three-year absence.

Although Screwfix Direct spent less than £1m in the past 12 months, it is expected that it will increase its future media spend significantly.

Sarah Brown, customer recruitment manager at Screwfix Direct, said: "Our choice of MediaVest was based on its ability to demonstrate a unique understanding of our business, it delivered a new level of insight into our data and demonstrated an enthusiasm that we felt set it apart from their peers."
