Baulk, who left AMV in June after 20 years, will work with the Cedar management team to promote the Cedar brand among senior clients and marketing services companies.
Baulk has experience of the customer publishing sector following AMV's acquisition of Redwood Publishing in 1994. He has also had previous dealings with Cedar, which formed a partnership with Redwood following a rebranding.
Cedar, best known for publishing the British Airways customer title High Life, has also put a new management structure in place under its managing director, Clare Broadbent. Dan Davey, the director of account management, Robin Barnes, the head of planning and strategy, and Rob Ford, the financial controller, all join Cedar's leadership team.
