Bosch business only seven months after winning the account.

Sources close to the agency claim that while Bosch UK had approved the

agency’s print campaign - written and art directed by Paul Briginshaw

and Malcolm Duffy - its German headquarters had then used a local agency

to adapt and art direct the work again without any discussion

beforehand. It then instructed Bosch UK to run the campaign on a

pan-European basis.

’It is with a heavy heart that we felt we had to resign Bosch. We have

an excellent relationship with Bosch UK, but we were placed in an

intolerable situation,’ Jeremy Miles, the chairman of Miles Calcraft,

said.
