MindShare recruits ex-Ogilvy planner to drive brand division

MindShare has recruited Richard Armstrong, a former regional account planner at Ogilvy & Mather in Singapore, to help drive the agency's brand insight division.

Armstrong joins as a managing partner in the communications director Rosie Faulkner's team. He is tasked with developing a better understanding of brands and their relationship with consumers and applying this insight to communication channel choices.

During his time at Ogilvy in Singapore, Armstrong worked on WPP global clients including Nike and Kodak. Most recently he ran the Singaporean strategic communications agency Red Card.

Faulkner said: "Working with our communications planners, Richard will help us to really get under the skin of our clients' target audiences."
