Monsoon Accessorize picks ODD for global creative brief

Monsoon Accessorize, the fashion retailer, has appointed ODD as the first global creative agency for its Monsoon and Accessorize brands, after a competitive pitch.

ODD has been tasked with developing a fully integrated global campaign for both brands for the spring/summer season this year. The campaign will run across press, out of home, digital and social, and in-store.

Monsoon was founded in 1973 by Peter Simon and today has 1,100 outlets across the world. Its sister brand, Accessorize, was launched ten years later.

In 2014 the company launched two digital campaigns, developed by web and mobile company Digital Natives, to promote its autumn/winter collection.

Eilidh MacAskill, the group marketing director at Monsoon Accessorize, said: "This is an important time for both Monsoon and Accessorize as we continue to widen our multi-channel platform offering and presence in our international territories."

Last month ODD was bought by Next 15, the marcoms group. The creative agency specialises in consumer facing comms for fashion brands and has recently picked up accounts for Benefit and Mr Porter.
