Moseley appointed to head Initiative's research operation

Initiative Media has appointed Sue Moseley to the position of

managing director of its strategic research operation IM Futures.

Moseley takes on an expanded role to the one vacated by Sue Elms, who

left the agency last month to join Carat Insight as the UK managing


Moseley will oversee an enlarged research and consumer knowledge company

comprising the entire research business of the newly merged operations

of Initiative and Western Media.

Moseley, who has been working as a consultant with the digital

consultancy Spectrum, was previously the strategic planning director of

TSMS, the United News & Media sales operation bought by Granada Media

last year.

Moseley's achievements include working on the creation of TvSpan, the

electronic advertising effectiveness study that has been expanded to a

national sample in the UK.

Marie-Jose Forrisier, the president and chief operating officer of

Initiative Media Worldwide, said: 'We have ambitious plans for the

development of IM Futures. Sue is one of the industry's most respected

individuals. Our experience in the area of consumer and media research

will be greatly enhanced by her expertise and insight.'

Moseley takes up her position at the end of April and will be based at

Initiative's London office.
