- Michael Moszynski, founding partner and chief executive officer of M&C Saatchi Hong Kong, is set to return to London to head up a new venture for the agency.
M&C Saatchi is refusing to offer any details on the exact nature of the new London-based operation, other than to confirm that Moszynski will arrive back in the UK sometime later this summer.
Moszynski will be replaced in Hong Kong by ex-Saatchi & Saatchi man Ian Thubron, who will join the agency from Euro RSCG, where he is an executive partner.
Thubron, like Moszynski, previously worked at Saatchi & Saatchi in London and was a founding partner of M&C Saatchi HK.
Moszynski leaves Hong Kong after seven years. He joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 1986 and transferred to Hong Kong in 1992. In 1995 Maurice Saatchi asked him to set up M&C Saatchi in Hong Kong.
Moszynski said: "This is an equally sad and exciting change for me. I am consoled by the fact that I am leaving the agency in the best possible hands. Given the emotional investment I have put into the company it would be impossible for me to settle for anyone less than Ian."
