Mother defeats four to take relaunch of Emap’s Kiss station

Mother has won Emap Radio’s flagship brand, Kiss 100, after a five-way pitch against M&C Saatchi, HHCL & Partners, Mustoe Merriman Herring Levy and Court Burkitt & Company.

Kiss will launch a campaign through Mother this autumn. The agency has

been briefed to deliver a fresher image for the station which has an

adspend of around pounds 1 million.



Mother now handles the entire Emap radio portfolio of brands, having won

all the Magic AM and Big City FM stations recently (Campaign, 5

June).



Mother has been working with Magic for more than a year, developing the

’as if by magic’ campaign.



Mike Soutar, the managing director of Kiss 100, said: ’We saw a number

of agencies and were very impressed with Mother’s approach to the

business.



They seemed to grasp very quickly what we are looking to achieve.’
