Mother hires four creative teams

Mother London has bolstered its creative department by adding four new teams.

The appointments are the first by Ana and Hermeti Balarin, who became executive creative directors in June, and fill the gap left by the two teams that have left or been relocated in the past year. 

The new teams will work across all of Mother’s clients – which now include Baileys and after recent pitch wins – and report to the Balarins.

Mike Kennedy and Pauline Ashford have joined from Grey London, where they worked from 2012 on brands including Vodafone, News UK and Lucozade. They were named as two of Campaign’s Faces To Watch earlier this year.

Also arriving are the South African duo Jonathan Santana and Xander Smith. They  were at Saatchi & Saatchi for seven years and have also worked for TBWA\Paris.

Matt Leach and Jess Oudot join from Mcgarrybowen London. The pair were previously at J Walter Thompson London, where they created the "coffee vs gangs" campaign for Kenco.

Mother has also hired Lisa Turner-Wray and Raine Allen-Miller, who were already at the agency on placement and have worked on ads including "epic builder" for
