It features comedians Jarred Christmas and William Owen signing a song about how they wish women were more like the fast food snack.

The ad broke on Saturday during an episode of American Pie.

Cheryl Calverley, brand manager at Pot Noodle, said: "We are really excited about this new, youth-focused strategy, which represents a move back towards Pot Noodle's traditional target audience."

The ‘Pot Noodle Says...' campaign was first introduced earlier this month on satellite channels.

The ads were inspired by YouTube-style user generated music videos, and the campaign was directed by Taika Waititi, who also directed cult TV series Flight of the Conchords.
