Movers: Appointment at Admedia

Admedia, the national media contractor for washrooms, has hired Naim Halloum as the group head of national sales as part of an expansion of its sales and marketing operations.

Halloum joins from the Evening Standard, where he spent six years, most recently as a group head.

At the Standard, he was responsible for relationships with all London agencies across the newspaper's entire portfolio of sections. In his new role, he will report directly to Andre Coetzee, Admedia's sales director.

Glenn Gowen (pictured) has been appointed as Admedia's head of marketing with responsibility for trade marketing, research and PR. Gowen joins from GCap Media, where he was the head of marketing support.

His nine-year career also includes stints at Opus, GMTV and TGI. In his new role, he will report to Admedia's joint chief executive Phillip Vecht.
