Movers: Appointment at BBC Origin

BBC Origin, the specialist magazine publisher, has promoted Andy Benham to the newly created position of publishing director.

Benham joined Origin as a publisher in 2002 across a number of magazines including BBC History, BBC Music, BBC Wildlife and BBC Gardens Illustrated. In this role, he led the launch of the BBC Sky at Night magazine, 220 Triathlon and the BBC Music Awards. In his new role, his first task will be to strengthen the company's publishing team. Benham's career spans 21 years, including spells at Haymarket Publishing, Dennis and Emap.
