Movers: Appointment at Emap2

Rob Tomalin (pictured) has been appointed the head of the strategy division Emap2. Tomalin was previously the cross-media group account director at Emap Advertising.

In his new role as the head of strategy, he will lead a team of nine.

Tomalin will be charged with developing more effective strategies with clients and media agencies across all of Emap's titles. He will work on the recently created Emap2 team alongside the creative media directors, James Hayr, Steve Taylor and Claudette Parry, and the head of account management, Jacquie Duckworth. The unit has been developed to use audience insight to provide integrated ad opportunities across Emap's brands.
