In this role, Robinson will work across all of IPC's divisions to help create a company-wide digital strategy. Reporting to the IPC chief executive, Sylvia Auton, he will also initially lead digital plans for IPC Southbank, which is currently without a digital director.
Robinson joined IPC in 1994 and two years later helped to launch NME.com, its most popular website. He became the commercial director of NME.com in 1999, before being promoted to publishing director of IPC ignite!, the division that publishes its men's and music titles. He took up his most recent role, as the publishing director across TV Times, TV & Satellite Week and Soaplife last year. During this time, he led the relaunch of TV Times.
