In this role, Wheaton will be responsible for running the network's UK office on a day-to-day basis. He will also be charged with building its client base and further integrating it with creative and other disciplines within the agency.
Wheaton joins after a spell as an internet analyst and freelance consultant. He began his career in 1984 in book publishing, working on Jung Chang's Wild Swans. In 1995, he took an MBA and changed his career path, moving into new media. Since then his career has included running Carat's Interactive digital business and a spell as the European marketing director of Getty Images.
