Movers: Appointment at The Telegraph Group

The Telegraph Group has restructured its circulation department under the circulation director, Steve McLaughlin.

Tracey Coyne has been promoted to head of wholesale and distribution, where she will be responsible for developing a more effective copy allocation strategy that will help it increase sales. Coyne was previously the distribution manager. Peter Hickman joins the publisher from WHS National Newspaper Office, where he was the central production manager on the Telegraph, Guardian and Observer titles.

In his new role, Hickman will be responsible for managing the wholesale field-based team and for measuring the Telegraph's wholesale activity.

Simon Harrington has been promoted to the newly created position of head of retail sales and marketing, and Ken Moreton has taken on the role of head of business development. Moreton was previously the group circulation manager.
