Time has appointed Laurie Benson (pictured) as its new publishing director, EMEA. She will oversee all sales and marketing initiatives for the title across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and sales teams will report to her from across the continent and South Africa. Benson will report directly to Ed McCarrick, Time's worldwide publisher. Benson was previously the president of sales and marketing at the US-based cable television network Hotelevision.
