Movers: Appointment at Zulu

Zulu, the Omnicom-owned digital and direct marketing network, has hired Mike Jeffries to head its group business development operation.

Jeffries' career spans a number of roles at agencies including Young & Rubicam and Wolff Olins. He joins from the Omnicom-owned PR agency Ketchum, where he was responsible for a number of major wins including Sky, Heineken and Samsonite. In his new role, he will report to Martin Brooks, the chief executive of Zulu, and work closely with the vice-chairman, Leo Campbell, developing new-business opportunities across Zulu's four member agencies: Claydon Heeley Jones Mason, Agency Republic, Alcone and Code. "Mike has an amazing track record and his diverse background will enable him to evangelise the Zulu proposition very effectively," Campbell said.
