Welcome to Campaign's weekly round-up of the hires, departures and promotions across the industry.

Steven Moy, the former Isobar UK chief has joined R/GA as the digital shop's new chief technology officer in the US. He will be based in New York and report to Nick Coronges, executive vice-president, global chief technology officer.

Jodie Stranger has been appointed group chief executive and president of global network clients, EMEA at Starcom UK. She was previously president of global network clients, EMEA for Publicis Media, the parent company for four media agencies, Starcom, Mediavest, Blue 449 and Zenith, which was set up last year.

BBDO chief creative Darren Richardson has been handed the newly-created role of European digital executive creative director at Havas. He will be based in the Dusseldorf office, where he will also head up the creative team in Germany as chief creative officer. Richardson will report into Eric Schoeffler, the executive creative director, Europe, and Chris Hirst, Havas' European and UK group chief executive.

Susan Hoffman has been promoted to the role of global co-chief creative officer at Wieden & Kennedy. She will lead the independent agency’s global network alongside fellow chief creative officer Colleen DeCourcy and chief operating officer Neil Christie.

Sara Rose, a creative director at Mother London, is joining Saatchi & Saatchi London as group creative director for the Asda account. She will report to report to chairwoman and chief creative officer Kate Stanners.

Emma Perkins, executive creative director of MullenLowe London's advertising arm and creative lead for MullenLowe Open, the activation boutique, is leaving to become The Lego Group's EMEA creative director. Also leaving the agency is Eloise Smith, the executive creative director at digital agency MullenLowe Profero.

Mindshare UK has hired Morys Ireland as its first-ever marketing technologist. He joins from Facebook Atlas, where he acted as a senior solutions consultant for its measurement product. Ireland will be reporting into Ruth Zohrer, head of connections planning at Mindshare UK.

Time Inc. UK has promoted Jon Restall to the role of head of agency partnerships. He will report  to Sam Finlay, chief revenue officer.

Mediabrands Society has appointed Andy Fairclough social strategy director of Mediabrands Society EMEA. He will report into Craig Lister, managing director of search and social at IPG Mediabrands EMEA.

Tesco’s former digital marketing director, Toby Horry, is now customer propositions director at the supermarket. He will continue to report to group brand director Michelle McEttrick.

Sainsbury’s has appointed Phil Jordan to the role of chief information officer. Jordan will join the retailer in January 2018 from Telefonica, where he is global CIO, based in Madrid.

Ben Price has joined Clear Channel UK in the new role of sales operations director. Price will be reporting to Clear Channel UK Group Sales Director, Richard Bon.

Global experience marketing agency George P Johnson has appointed George Bear as creative services director. He was previously creative resource director at WCRS.

Dominic Grounsell has left his role as global marketing director at Travelex after deciding the company was heading in a "different direction" that no longer matched his career aspirations. He is considering approaches and plans to take the summer off before returning to work in September.

Social Chain has opened its first US office in Williamsburg, New York. The expansion will be led by the agency’s newly appointed managing director Sam Budd.

Jason Romeyko has been appointed to the newly created role of worldwide executive creative director (WWECD) at Serviceplan International.

Olly Chapman has joined production company Furlined as UK managing director. He was previously head of TV production at AMV/BBDO.

Fuse, part of the Omnicom Media Group, has announced two promotions. Stephen Hutchison and Kat Thomas have been made joint deputy managing directors. They will report to Lou Johnson, Fuse managing director EMEA.

Creative agency Doner London has named Julie Hart head of production, reporting directly into managing director Nick Constantinou. Hart joins from The Bio Agency.

Graeme McKenzie has joined Birmingham-based PR and social media communications agency WPR Agency Ltd as strategy and planning director. He will report to WPR managing director Jane Ainsworth.

Marketing communications agency BDB has made four new appointments: Laura Stoker joins the agency as an account manager from Refresh PR; Megan Cutts joins the team as an account executive from Triangle PR; Lucy Brice rejoins as technical content manager; and Alex Calder has been appointed finance manager, from London based digital agency, Critical Mass. 

Independent creative agency RPM has appointed three new board members. Gillian Ward has been promoted to board director people, alongside Rosa Chapman as board director client service and John Viccars as board director strategy.
