Andy Troullides has joined the online media trading sales house iMediapoint as managing director. Troullides, the former joint managing director of MediaCom TMB, has been acting as a consultant for the net sales house but officially joined the company last week.

director of MediaCom TMB, has been acting as a consultant for the net

sales house but officially joined the company last week.





TDI, the transport advertising specialist, has promoted national sales

director Clive Punter and UK commercial director Andrew Oldham. The two

become joint managing directors of the company. Mike Baker, UK marketing

director, becomes European marketing director, with a brief to oversee

all TDI’s European marketing activity.





MMXI Europe, the internet audience measurement company, has hired

Michael Read as European sales director. Read joins from BPA

International, the worldwide audit bureau, where he was UK managing

director. Before that he worked as marketing controller at Meridian

Broadcasting.





TeamTalk.com, the online sports site, has appointed two sales people to

its commercial team. James McEvoy joins TeamTalk as a commercial manager

from Marconni Communications, where he had worked as sales and marketing

manager for 15 years. Andrew Swires also joins as a commercial manager.

He was previously the British Library’s international marketing manager

for the Far East and Australia and, before that, global sales manager

for the library’s web service. Swires and McEvoy will report to

commercial director Mark Woodhead and will work on creating and

maximising e-commerce opportunities around the TeamTalk website.





Carat International has taken on Stephen White as its new-business

director. He joins the agency from The Economist, where his remit

included advertising sales in Austria, Germany and Central Europe. White

replaces Kirk McPherson, who has moved to MindShare.





iWeb.com, the specialist internet messaging company, has hired May Lee

as PR and marketing executive. The appointment follows the decision by

Freeserve and WorldOnline to use the company’s iNotes online advertising

system. Lee will assist iWeb’s sales and marketing teams in signing up

new ISPs and advertisers. Before joining iWeb, Lee worked in Paris as

sales and marketing executive for Mentor Graphics Corporation. The

company has also taken on Catherine Heibron as European marketing

manager. She will be responsible for developing and managing the

marketing strategy iNotes to ISPs and advertisers across Europe.





Boomerang Media, the postcard advertising specialist, has appointed

Sharon Mason marketing communications manager. Mason joins Boomerang

from Macmillan Publishing, where she was a sales manager. Boomerang

Media distributes more than 220 million cards a year in cinemas, bars,

health clubs, universities and secondary schools.





BMP InterAction, the online media company, has hired Modem Media’s Ebba

Linden as European business development director. InterAction has also

taken on BMP OMD’s Leigh Terry as media manager and MindShare Digital’s

Anna Odero as a senior account manager.
