MPG's appointment follows that of sister Havas creative agency Arnold Worldwide to handle Hershey's creative. The business moved out of DDB Worldwide and Ogilvy & Mather.
Omnicom's OMD will continue to handle media buying for Hershey. Arnold and MPG will work together to produce integrated marketing programmes.
Tom Hernquist, senior vice-president of Hershey, said: "This relationship will help Hershey further build its brands and drive growth by connecting with consumers across a full range of touchpoints and media."
