MPG wins Hershey's media planning account

NEW YORK - Media Planning Group has been appointed to handle media planning on the Hershey confectionery account.

MPG's appointment follows that of sister Havas creative agency Arnold Worldwide to handle Hershey's creative. The business moved out of DDB Worldwide and Ogilvy & Mather.

Omnicom's OMD will continue to handle media buying for Hershey. Arnold and MPG will work together to produce integrated marketing programmes.

Tom Hernquist, senior vice-president of Hershey, said: "This relationship will help Hershey further build its brands and drive growth by connecting with consumers across a full range of touchpoints and media."
