i-level, the UK online media planning and buying agency, has been appointed by dotcom start-up, music3w.com, to handle its £1 million online media account.
Music3w.com is planning to launch a service which will host branded band websites. It will carry news, interviews, music, videos, CDs, books and other merchandise. In addition it will feature online ticket sales and a rock and pop memorabilia auction site.
Earlier this month music3w.com appointed new media consultancy Deepend to handle its online branding and website development.
music3w.com's management team includes Hamish Pringle as director of marketing. Pringle was previously vice chairman and director of marketing at Saatchi & Saatchi.
The site is scheduled for launch in May 2000.
