Naked hires Banaie and Dudley to boost accounts and deals

Naked Communications has made two senior hirings to boost its key account teams and give financial leadership.

Niku Banaie will join Naked as a strategist. He was previously at Carat International as the innovations manager.

Naked has also hired its first financial director, Barry Dudley, a director from Deloitte & Touche and an expert in the communications sector. He previously worked at Andersen Consulting.

Banaie joins Naked after two years at Carat working on several international clients including Adidas and Vodafone. He was a specialist in communications strategy and creative ideas development. At Naked he will work on clients including Honda and PlayStation.

Dudley will provide financial expertise as Naked looks at expansion and acquisition. John Harlow, a partner at Naked, said: "We've grown very rapidly and got to the critical mass where we need to make strategic decisions about deals and expansion, and we need somebody at the centre of things with business rigour."

Commenting on Banaie's appointment, Harlow added: "He's a very special talent and it's part of our policy to attract bright talent and give them a platform to grow."
