Griffin is one of three new appointments for the team, along with Elaine Goulden, the client development manager at ids, and Simon Armstrong, from the outdoor specialist Primesight, who have joined as planning account controllers. They will report to Simon Orpin, the integrated planning director at ITV Customer Relations.
The team, which launched in January, aims to build stronger commercial relationships with strategists and planners at media agencies, and develop revenue solutions across the ITV portfolio.
Orpin said: "They're joining at a time when we are more focused than ever on building stronger relationships with strategic planners and driving income and innovation across ITV's rich range of content."
Griffin added: "This is an exciting time to move media-side; there seems to be a renewed buzz about ITV."
