Cambridge-based agency Fox Media has launched a website that

enables media owners to flag up their sponsorship opportunities

online.

Pearl & Dean, GMTV and the Arts Channel have already posted their

up-and-coming sponsorship offerings on the new site -

www.UKSponsorship.com.

To sign up to the free website, media owners need to log on to the site

and enter their company name, contact name and, if they wish, include

some examples of sponsorship deals that have involved their medium.

Richard Fox, managing director of Fox Media, is responsible for the

venture.

The aim of the site is to offer clients a brief, easy-to-follow guide of

who is offering sponsorship packages in a wide range of sectors.

’It is not a trading site like iMediapoint but a good chance for media

owners to lay out their stalls and stimulate a few ideas,’ said Fox.

’The service is free for clients and is user-friendly - there are no

registration barriers, for instance,’ he added.

UKSponsorship.com is split into arts, media and cause-related categories

and offers sub-sections for television, radio, cinema, press and new

media.

Fox is planning to gain revenue from the website through banner

advertising.

He may look for a sales person or outsource sales in a few months, once

the site is ’crammed full of sponsorship opportunities’.
