Wells Soft Drinks has hired Focus Public Relations to launch a trade-

based campaign for its British mineral water brand Aqua Pura.

Focus beat two others to win the account, believed to be worth pounds

40,000 in fees.

The incumbent firm, the Quentin Bell Organisation, which ran a two-year

campaign to woo mineral water drinkers away from French brands to Aqua

Pura, withdrew from the pitch to handle a project for client Coca-Cola.

The brief is believed to cover handling Aqua Pura’s involvement in The

London Marathon as the official water supplier to competitors and trade

PR for the soft drinks company’s range of lemonades, colas, and fruit

crushes.
