NEWS: Corrections and clarifications

Contrary to the report in Campaign last week, Raymond Joslin and Duncan Edwards are in no way involved in the setting up of any new division within the National Magazine Company. Edwards retains responsibility for the company’s corporate sales, international sales, group classified sales and regional sales. Joslin, based in New York, is group head of Hearst Entertainment and Syndication and vice-president of the Hearst Corporation.

Also, in last week’s story about the demise of Spots, Cecilia Garnett,

the chief executive of the Advertising Film and Videotape Producers

Association, was misquoted. Garnett actually said: ‘Until two or three

years ago Spots was one of the top companies in London.’
