Delaney Fletcher Bozell has appointed the GGT board account director,

Chris Blayze, as planning director.



Blayze, 32, joined Delaney Fletcher this week to replace Fran Foster,

who took up a European role earlier this year.



Blayze worked on GGT’s flagship Cadbury, Holsten and John Smith’s

accounts. He said his aim was to rejuvenate planning at Delaney Fletcher

and ensure it finds its way into the creative process as early as

possible.



‘Delaney Fletcher is a very professional agency which has had a fairly

traditional planning function and is looking for a change,’ he said.



Blayze began his career at DMB&B, cutting his teeth mainly on the

Procter and Gamble business, before moving on to Leo Burnett’s planning

department.



He then switched to GGT to become one of three board account directors

and work closely with the planning director, Karen Salisbury, on a

number of key accounts.



Blayze said he was attracted to Delaney Fletcher because of its client

list, which includes Chrysler, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Premier Brands and

the Financial Times.
