Grounds Morris, the creative consultancy set up earlier this year, has picked up an account to promote the benefits of organic meat.

Grounds Morris, the creative consultancy set up earlier this year, has

picked up an account to promote the benefits of organic meat.

Eastbrook Farm Organic Meats is the agency’s third direct win, as

opposed to business won via another advertising agency.

The meat farmer will advertise for the first time this winter through

press executions that point out the dubious contents of conventionally

farmed meats, such as pesticides, and their effects on human sperm

counts.

The campaign kicks off with the festive message: ‘Will you be giving

your children a chemistry set for Christmas?’ It then goes on to list

the possible ingredients in a traditional Christmas dinner such as

organophosphates and sulphur dioxide. Further executions include the

line: ‘What effects do pesticides have on your meat and two veg?’

Eastbrook is planning to spend up to pounds 250,000 in specialist health

magazines and local publications in the South-west. The company

appointed Grounds Morris through its creative team, the art director,

Adrian Belcham, and his copywriter, Richard Selbourne, who created the

campaign.

Rob Morris, founding partner, said: ‘It is rewarding and interesting to

be involved in a campaign that is not only new but is in a sector that

is also in its embryonic stage.’
