The Media Business has scooped new business worth pounds 2 million,

picking up the media planning and buying for two Antipodean clients.

The media independent has landed the pounds 1 million media task for the

New Zealand Tourist and Publicity Office and the budget could be doubled

by extra funds from airlines serving the country. The media planning and

buying account was previously handled by Zenith Media.

The tourist board recently reviewed its creative account out of Zenith’s

sister creative agency, Saatchi and Saatchi. Mustoe Merriman Herring

Levy took the creative business, but a decision on media was delayed

until this month.

Steve Allan, managing director of the Media Business, said his company

was preparing for New Zealand Tourist Board’s work in late spring.

Allan also confirmed the Media Business’s win of the pounds 500,000

account to launch a suncare range from Ego Pharmaceuticals into the UK.
