NTL has revealed details of its digital cable service NTL Digital
Plus, which is set to launch in July.
NTL Digital Plus will combine NTL’s existing telephone and internet
services with digital TV into a single package, priced at pounds 13 a
month. It will be marketed initially in Scotland, Northern Ireland and
NTL predicts the service will attract an extra 300,000, digital cable
customers by the end of the year.

interactive advertisers, the first of which is Sony (see story
Advertising will be sold by a ten-strong sales team within NTL
Interactive, headed market development manager Andy Crossley.
Crossley said: ’Once digital cable is up and running across the country,
interactivity will expand the opportunities available to TV
