- Ogilvy & Mather Amsterdam is merging with local agency DSDS to create a new force in the Dutch advertising industry.
The new agency, 100 per cent owned by O&M, will be known as DSDS/ Ogilvy & Mather Amsterdam.
With a staff of 60, its combined income of 18 million Dutch Guilders place it just outside of the top five in the market. The agency will be housed in O&M's existing building.
DSDS/O&M's management team is headed by chairman Henk Druppers, who will report to O&M group chairman Wim van Melick.
O&M has been looking to strengthen its position in the Dutch market for some time, and the merger creates an agency with a better chance of local and international business, and a stronger platform for future growth.
