Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide names vice-chairman

Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide has promoted Steve Hayden to the post of vice-chairman, working as creative partner on global accounts held by the WPP-owned network.

Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide has promoted Steve Hayden to the post of vice-chairman, working as creative partner on global accounts held by the WPP-owned network.

Hayden will work with chairman and ceo Shelly Lazarus in his new role, and was previously president of brand services on the IBM account, which he has run since 1994.

Before joining O&M, Hayden was chairman of BBDO Worldwide in Los Angeles where he worked on Apple Computers. He was also part of the creative team which wrote the Chait/Day 1984 Apple Superbowl ad "1984".
