The media agency has hired Ibrahim, a former digital and social media strategist at RPM and Wunderman UK, to work alongside both its research and insight and digital teams.
Reporting to Tony Regan, the head of planning and insight, Ibrahim will be responsible for ensuring social media is integrated into the research and insight output for clients from the planning stage.
Ibrahim was previously a founding partner of the property management software and website package start-up Gnomen.co.uk. He sold his Gnomen shares in 2005 and became a digital strategist at RPM, then a social media analyst at Wunderman UK.
Alex Altman, the Initiative chief executive, said: "This hiring enables us to get closer to our clients' brands and execute these learnings in our communications plans."
