Before entering the respectable world of business publishing, Tim
Haigh used to work ’on the other side’.
He started out in the ad sales department of the weekly Psychic news,
checking that the ads were genuine before booking them in. Later he
moved into editorial.
Haigh once attended a seance, when a sadly departed friend appeared to
him ’draped in ectoplasm’. The pair proceeded to shoot the breeze about
like after death and other everyday topics. He also witnessed a
Brazilian psychic surgeon seal a wound by magic. ’Mostly, however, it
was just stories about ghosts in pubs,’ he admits. So are there any
spectres haunting the corridors of RBI? ’Sadly not,’ Haigh claims.
