- Oracle, the world's second largest software company, has launched a £15 million ($25 million) global advertising campaign.
The campaign, which carries the tagline "Now You Know", is part of Oracle's bid to unseat German software company SAP as the leader in the enterprise applications software market.
The first in a series of print ads will run this week in Wall Street Journal. Television, radio and web advertising is scheduled to begin this fall. The international print version of the ad will break in September.
The ads are designed to appeal to CEOs who are looking to get valuable information out of their corporate databases to help them make better business decisions.
