Procter & Gamble has announced a partnership with Excite to develop a website designed to appeal to teenagers in the UK.
The site is expected to be launched later in the year and will allow P&G to form early relationships with a high prized group of consumers. The site will include community, chat and interactivity.
Precise details of the site will be unveiled shortly, but P&G and Excite UK are expected to seek further content partners for the venture.
James Eadie, P&G brand manager for Interactive Marketing Europe, said: "This site is a great opportunity for P&G to further increase the relevance of our brands to the teenage audience. The internet gives us a unique platform to leverage the scale of our portfolio to better meet the needs of specific target groups."
