Partners BDDH wins pounds 2.5m business for Goodfella's pizzas

LONDON - Partners BDDH has won the pounds 2.5 million Goodfella's frozen pizza business from the Green Isle Food Group.

The agency scooped the account following a pitch conducted through the

AAR against Leith London and Mitchell Patterson Grime Mitchell. The

business moves from J. Walter Thompson's Dublin agency, DDFH&B. Media

will remain with BBJ.

Simon Toaldo, the managing director at Partners BDDH, said: "Goodfella's

is a brand leader with the desire to innovate and really shake up the

frozen pizza market."

Goodfella's competes with McCain's San Marco brand and Schwan's

Freschetta and Chicago Town and operates in the UK and Ireland.

Green Isle called the review in February, and appointed the Guinness

marketer Andy Kinsella one week later. It supplies a number of own-label

lines, including frozen foods and the Donegal Catch, and is owned by

Northern Foods.
